Went on a a gorgeous hike yesterday afternoon with the love of my life. It was grey all day and slightly chilly, but the trail was about 1.25 miles all uphill so we were warm enough. We must be pretty bad at this because everyone else told her how easy this one was and we were stopping every five minutes for a breather. DON’T YOU JUDGE ME.
At the top, there’s a huge, flat expanse that overlooks the Rogue Valley and you can see Mount Ashland in the distance all cliche and snowy-capped like. It was beautiful.
I’m so happy I’m here.
